Easter

Easter this year was so wonderful! Keaton took Tristan in the morning so I could sleep in a little bit longer which was so awesome but it also got our day started a little later. When Rem woke up we started our search for our Easter baskets. Tristan found his first and we all sat around to watch him open it. Rem found and opened hers next. We all spent a good hour playing with the new toys the kids got. Keaton especially enjoyed the kids spoils! It was so much fun.
Next I started on the cookies I was asked to bring to great grandma Gifford's get together. I was sure it started at 2 but kept second guessing myself. The feeling wouldn't go away so I finely asked Keaton to text Kade to make sure. After my second batch of cookies were in the oven Keaton came in and told me it started at noon!!! Ahhh I looked at the clock and it was already 12:05!  Cookies weren't done, I still needed to shower and the kids were still in their PJs!  I immediately jumped in the shower and took the fastest shower in the world while Keaton scrambled getting the kids dressed. When I got out of the shower I threw the last batch of cookies in the oven while I did my hair and figured out what I was going to wear! All said and done we were out the door and in the car by 1:00. I felt so bad being so late but it ended up working out alright. We missed sitting and eating with everyone but the food was still out so we were able to get something and they were just starting the easter egg hunt for all the kids so Rem and Tristan didn't miss that! Tristan spent the first hour of our time there with his hands over his eyes. He been super shy lately and likes to think if he can't see you, you can't see him! I can't help but to laugh because I think he's so funny when he does it! He finely warmed up and we were all able to sit around and chat for a while and the kids ran around with sugar highs!
Next we went to Kade and Loni's house to kill sometime before we were off to our last adventure! The kids were still high on sugar and were being compleatly crazy so we took them to the park to play before we had to leave. They enjoyed going down the twisty tube slide a dozen times.
Our last activity was fhe with Grandma Candy and Great Grandpa Karren in Lewiston. We had another easter egg hunt and then an awesome Easter lesson on the death and resurrection of Christ! Then Keaton helped grandpa get a large birds nest out of his tree. It was very exciting! We were also able to chat for a bit and I think we all enjoyed eachothers company very much. When we got home i got the kids to bed then cleaned out our messy car that was filled with many many more spoils of Easter.
It was a very busy day but so wonderful and blessed to be able to spend it with the people we love!  I missed general conference which I was bummed about because I've been looking forward to it. Thankfully my parents have it recorded and I'll be able to watch it later this week! I love our church leaders so much and am eager to hear their inspired words to us!
And lastly I am so so so very thankful for my savior Jesus Christ, his atoneing sacrafice and that he was reserected; so that we may all be saved and live again with him and our Heavenly Father again someday! Happy Easter everyone!
