Almost 3

If I don't write this post now it may not happen and that would be a shame! Life right now is so crazy most days I'm just trying to keep milk in the refridgerater. We go through about a gallon a day now which I find insane. Before Keaton and I had kids it wasn't even a staple in our fridge. If I did buy it, it always went bad before we could drink it all! But this post isn't about milk or even my busy days it's about my almost 3 year old boy Tristan who thinks it's okay to grow up!
I have 5 more days with my two year old. I'm not ready to say good bye to him yet. Two has been a good year for him! 11 and a half months ago he could say about 30 plus words but didn't really use them much. He mostly communicated with pointing, facial expressions and different ehs and aha. I remember worrying about him because by the time Rem was two she was putting together sentences. I don't know when it happened but sometime in those next couple of months his speach took off and now he talks more than I do! I love listening to him talk. He has the sweetest voice and he is SO animated when he talks! He is insanely smart and happy as a kid can be. He also knows how to bargin and is used to getting his way. He LOVES to cuddle with me. He loves me to hold him and rock him and sing to him. He loves to give kisses and hugs. He calls his thumb his flum and it's the best thing ever! He has the terrible twos down. He wants everything done his way and doesn't understand why I won't pour the entire bag of cereal into his little bowl (which of I'm lucky he'll eat 3 bites of) so decides if he can't have the whole bag he doesn't went any! He knows that somedays he loves to eat pb and honey sandwhiches and the next day he doesn't.
He LOVES his big sister. If Rem has it, likes it, wants it, touches it, looks at it, he wants to do that too. Rem always has his back. If he does something naughty and I get after him she'll always try to make it better. She hates to see him sad. I don't quite understand their relationship because one second they are fighting and the next they're laughing. They love to tell on each other. I love that they are close though and I hope so much that they will both have each others backs all through life.
If rem pokes him or touches him when he doesn't went her to he'll run in to tell me about it and exaturate it to the nines, "Rem did this to me" as he grabs his arm and throws himself to the ground. I can't quite explain it, but it's so funny and I can't help but laugh everytime!
This boy LOVES cars and train's SO SO much. He has one in his hand 24-7. He will sleep with them in his hand keeps them in his pockets when he leaves the house. For Christmas he got everything cars and couldn't have had a better day. When he'd open a new present he always guessed it was going to be a car and loved it when it was. He'd open it immediately and start to play. He is more than obsessed! When he wants to keep me around longer (bedtime) he'll say "mom, I need to tell you something." so I'll say " okay, tell me" and he'll say everytime " cars go fast" and then he giggles! I love it. Another favorite past time that was started by grandma Huish is "reading the cars". He picks out one of his cars and you have to make up a story about it. It's probably his favorite one on one pass time with me and grandma Huish too!
I could write forever about this boy. He is my little buddy all day while Rem is in school. I love our time together just one on one. He has a very special spirit that strengthen our family and home. He is so special. I let him get away with far too much I just still look at him as my baby so sweet and innocent! When I think of him being 3 I just don't believe that it's been that long sense we brought him home from the hospital. 3 years has gone by in the blink of and eye. It's been good. I hope we're blessed with another 3 years just like the last! Happy soon to be birthday my big kid. I love you SO much!

Tristan sounds like Clark! Clark has a lisp so my favorite thing to hear him say is "lel-low nim-i-nimth" or yellow m&m's :) I try to get him to say it as often as I can. Michael and I were talking the other day and decided that three years old might be one of our favorite ages because of the enthusiasm and love that comes with it. They seem so excite about discovering the world around them!
I can't believe our babies are growing up! I have to make Clark snuggle with me-he prefers his daddy.
