Bathroom talk

I'm so happy to be able to say we are officially done with diapers!! The last few weeks Tristan has been wanting to use the potty and rarely has had any accidents. He's been so consistent for the last week with no accidents that I'm pretty sure we're finished!  I made a trip to Costco yesterday and didn't pick up any diapers or wipes. It made me a little sad only because that means I don't have a BABY at home who needs them anymore!:(
I'm also learning that having a potty trained boy is slightly different than a girl. For instance 10 minutes ago when Tristan handed me a cup with a warm yellow liquid in it and said, "pee mommy!" ...WHAT???!! SO gross!! I'm still processing that one! I wouldn't really classify it as an accident. He's such a crazy kid I could only laugh, and then I threw the nasty pee down the toilet and the cup in the trash because honestly nobody wants to drink from a cup that once had pee in it!
I love my baby boy so so much! I can't believe he doesn't wear diapers anymore. I swear I was just bringing him home from the hospital! Ahhh time really needs to slow down, all these wonderful mommy moments are passing by so fast. It makes me sad! Now I am going to finish by saying one more cheesey thing such as "no matter how old he gets he'll always be my baby", but it's true, it's really how I feel!
