Katchup

Every once in a while I remember I have a blog.  Sometime I like to go to it and read old post.  I'm always disappointed that there isn't more to read but also reminded of how thankful I am that I have written a few things down because it is so easy to forget the little things.
Since Tristan was born I feel like it's just been one big blur.  I'm pretty sure it has to do with the little to none sleep I have gotten since that day.  When he was a new born he slept all day and all night just got up every 2 hours to eat.  When he started to wake up I was lucky enough he knew his days and nights and still slept at night only to wake every 3-4 hour to eat.  I felt so lucky and thought it was just going to get better as he got older.  Unfortunately as he has gotten older he has only become more aware of his surrounding and because he is still sleeping in our room and knows I am right there; every time he wakes up in the slightest instead of just going back to sleep he knows if he cries enough he'll bug me enough to come get him out of his crib and cuddle him back to sleep....he does this about every hour of the night and sometimes more.  I'm at a lost for what to do about so I have just been going along with it and getting no sleep.  It's catching up to me and I feel like I'm going crazy some days and I'm just a zombie the others.
Today I was looking at the photos on my camera and had completely forgotten I had taken some of them.   I wanted to post them and write a bit of what was going on other wise the memories may leave me forever.  As it is it's already a bit hazy.
This summer mom and dad were gone a lot with Michael and Laurie moving to Texas and a couple of trips to Oregon visiting family and who knows what else.  While they were gone we had the opportunity to stay at their house and play in their big backyard.  We had an awesome routine of waking up getting breakfast taking baths Tristan would go down for his 2-3 hour nap and Rem and I would head outside to play.  I would start by watering all the flowers and Rem would follow me around "helping me".  When we would finish we would jump on the trampoline, play in the waiting pool, pick cherries, raspberries, tomatoes, peaches, green beans and have picnics.  It was so fun to play together and have that one on one time enjoying the hot weather.  Rem loved the water and was  frequently was asking me to spray her with the hose and she would laugh and laugh.  I got a few photos of her playing in the sprinklers being completely fearless of the cold water.  Here are a few of my favorites:
 getting wet

 stopping the water

 running through

going to step on the head of the sprinkler

 running through

 Stepping on the sprinkler head

 Flipping on her head

 Getting her hair wet

 running from the spray

This last one cracks me up because anyone that knows Rem knows that she likes to take off her clothes.  I'm constantly telling her to keep her clothes on especially outside!!
