The last couple months you have been wanting to do everything I do. I'm pretty sure you think you're a mini me and can do everything you see me do. When I start picking up and cleaning the house you're right there with me. When I start picking things up getting ready to vacume you know what I'm doing and start picking things up off the floor with me. You take my dusting rag and start "dusting" everything you can reach. You take my wash cloth when I'm wiping down counters and "help me" clean, you unload the dishwasher with me and you love to wear make up and put on perfume daily (of course I don't really let you wear make up we just pretend and you're satisfied with that). The last few weeks you have been insisting on helping me cook, you dump and stir, wash fruits and vegetables and get things from the refrigerator and pantry for me! Everything takes twice as long to do now but at the same time I love that you are interested in learning to do these life long valuable things that will help you as you grow.
You love being a girl. You love everything pretty. You request to wear dresses and are very adamant on what shoes you want to wear with what outfit. You love taking walks, picking and smelling flowers. You will get anyone you can to do what you want to do and you're so darn cute you usually find someone who can't say no. You love taking care of your babies, you kiss, hug and feed them, give them baths, try to get them dress and put them to bed.
The other day you were playing and I over heard you say "Prayer! Heavenly Father, Amen" I love that you are learning to pray and I hope you pray every day and know that he hears you and is very mindful of you. Becoming a parent has given me a glimpse of how Heavenly Father must feel about his children and I know he love you and has great plans for you.
You love nursery, most weeks you go right in and not look back but recently you've been wanting me to stay in with you. You know right where your class is and will walk me there as soon as we get to church. I have to tell you that we have to go to sacrament meeting first.
At night time you love to take a bath and then when you're all done playing in the tub you get out and jump on our bed naked singing "pockets" (Ring around the rosy) until I don't let you anymore. When we turn out the lights for bed we say our prayers and then sing songs until you fall asleep. You're favorites are twinkle twinkle little star, once there was a snow man and happy birthday.
In the morning when you wake up you stay in bed and call for me to come get you. When I come in you tell me to turn off the fan, turn on the light, you give me a big morning hug and tell me you love me. Then we go out to the family room and you cuddle with me until you're ready to play by yourself.
I love these moments with you so much. They are so precious and I hope you always stay so sweet. I love you so much you make mine and daddy's life so rich! Thank you for bringing your sweetness to our family.
