Christmas 2010

This is a bit late but I haven't even thought about blogging in awhile so I apologize!
Our Christmas was wonderful and very busy. For Christmas Eve we were invited to Keaton's Dad and Brenda's house and had a delicious dinner and Rem got to play with her cousins Dawson and Radley. Dawson is only 2 weeks older than her and they were so cute playing with each other. Radley is only 2 months old so she didn't do much playing but she sure was cute! I didn't bring my camera so I didn't get any pictures but I know Keaton's dad took some so I might have to ask him for copies. We got home that night and I put Rem to bed and then put up our Christmas tree...Yes I realized Christmas eve that even though I didn't care about having a tree Rem needed one so we borrowed a small one from mom and dad that they weren't using and TADAH Christmas! Sadly I thought I had more lights than I did so this tree only had one string of lights but whatever I worked with what I had and even though It looks very sad in these pictures it wasn't so bad to look at in real life. I also only put up a fraction of the ornaments we have because I knew I would be taking it down in a few days and I didn't want to go all out. In all honestly Rem won't know the difference! That night while I was finishing last minute wrapping Rem woke up and was wide awake I had too much to do so I just brought her out with me while I was finishing up. I think it ruined the Christmas morning surprise but when I brought her out into the family room and she saw the tree and lights in our house it was priceless! She looked at the tree and then ever so slowly got a huge smile on her face! I LOVED IT! I finished up and then we all went to bed.
Christmas morning we let Rem pick what time to get up and lucky us she wanted to sleep in until 9:30am!! We took her out into the family room again so she could experience that Christmas magic and this time she wasn't too fascinated! We set her down with her stocking and she pulled out the traditional orange and played with it for a while before getting interested in what else was in that sock! We kinda had to rush things along because we were supposed to be at Keaton's Mom's at 10am and as it was going knew we'd be late. We all opened our stocking and then helped Rem open her gifts and she seemed to really like them, lots of toys and books!! Then off to Keaton's Mom's where we opened gifts with her and Kallie and Kordell. Rem once again got spoiled with more presents. After that we headed over to Mom and Dad's to have Christmas dinner/lunch. It was wonderful but I had to leave early to go to work for just a few hours. I got off at 7pm and then went back to Mom and Dads and opened more present from them to Rem and from the Moon's to our family! AND holy cow did they go above and beyond with the cutest clothes for Rem and books for Keaton and a trip for ME! Talk about a surprise! It was wonderful. We had a wonderful day and feel so blessed to have so much family to spend the holiday with. Here are a few of our pictures...oh yeah I only got ones from that morning at our house whoops!
